Overview

Manhattan WMS Platform Engineer

Manhattan platform engineer with 6+ years of experience. Technical experience with Manhattan with ambition to learn new technologies. Good communicator speaking clear English. The candidate should be able to interact with their own team as well as the network & platform team. Knowledge about networking, cloud, Unix and maintaining the Manhattan Platform. The platform runs on cloud (AWS) with RDS database. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the team and the network & platform teams to maintain and operate the Manhattan Platform.
• Install SDNs and upgrade components.
• Be willing to learn new techniques like Apache NiFi or other specific technologies. Interest in hardware like printers & scanners.
• Work in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Provide on-call support during non-working hours when required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Manhattan platform; knowledge of Docker Swarm, Terraform, Atlantis, Jenkins, Git, and shell scripting (Bash).
• Experience with cloud (AWS) and RDS databases.
• Knowledge of networking, cloud, Unix, and maintaining the Manhattan Platform.
• Familiarity with SDN installations and component upgrades.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies and to engage with hardware aspects as needed.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Willing to work in Netherlands time zone.

Contract Details

• Remote position.
• Initially a 6 to 12 month contract assignment.
• Rate: £300 - £500 per day, depending on experience.
