Job Description

Responsible for ensuring the overall delivery of MBUK’s banking activities, including effective control and efficient management of all the Operations related functions of the London Branch (Trade Finance, Account Services, Payments & Remittances & Treasury).

• business is undertaken in accordance with Mashreqbank PSC, Dubai (MBHO) / MBUK policies and procedures relating to operations, including compliance and financial crime aspects, in 1LOD role;
• closely coordinating with UK Operations, MGS to ensure all is in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreement (Ops SLA);
• maintaining good customer service levels and effectively handling customer queries, or complaints if formally escalated, whilst ensuring high team daily productivity;
• keeping abreast with the latest changes to internal, external, audit, compliance and regulatory rules & guidelines.

Member of the bank’s governance committees including MANCO, RISKCO and ALCO.
