Job description

Our marketing team is undergoing an exciting transformation – and we’re looking for exceptional talent to join us. As we build a more digitally focused, data-driven marketing function, we’re investing in people who can own strategy and execution across paid search, SEO, and social media. Bring your data expertise to a role that shapes strategy, drives performance, and influences legendary brands.

About the Role

In the Senior Manager of Analytics role, you will lead the development and execution of advanced analytics to power smarter decisions across Micheldever Group’s retail, wholesale and tyre brands. You’ll partner with the Group Marketing Director and cross‑functional teams, building a growing analytics function and ensuring data governance and insights are embedded across the business.

Responsibilities
  • Set the analytics strategy and produce a costed, resourced, time‑lined annual plan aligned to marketing and commercial priorities.
  • Review and update the plan quarterly to incorporate new trends and business needs.
  • Deliver actionable insights and performance reporting, analysing customer, product and market data to drive measurable uplift in conversion and CSS.
  • Own dashboards for ROI, CLV, retention and operational KPIs; report monthly to the Leadership Team.
  • Lead predictive modelling and AI initiatives, building models for propensity, churn and campaign optimisation using modern data stacks.
  • Pilot and scale targeting‑precision initiatives that increase efficiency.
  • Commission research and benchmarking: run surveys and focus groups, evaluate industry and competitor data to inform positioning and channel strategy.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance, overseeing data quality, security and GDPR in partnership with Digital Operations.
  • Partner across marketing and digital: provide audience segmentation, testing frameworks and recommendations to SEO, social, campaign and e‑commerce teams.
  • Lead and develop the analytics team, mentoring the Senior Analyst and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Senior analytics leadership with proven impact on campaign ROI, retention and customer experience.
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Track record of building scalable data processes and ensuring GDPR‑compliant practices.
  • Passion for experimentation, continuous improvement and enabling data‑driven decisions.
