A leading accounting association in London is seeking a Legal Advisor for commercial contracts, corporate governance, and intellectual property matters. In this role, you will provide legal advice, draft contracts, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Law, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience. This position allows for a hybrid working schedule along with a comprehensive benefits package focused on employee wellbeing.
You will provide legal advice on issues affecting The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants' (CIMA) and the Association of International Professional Accountants' (Association). You will play a trusted role in Commercial Contracts, Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance; Regional Office Activities and Compliance and Intellectual Property Rights (trademarks and copyright). You will report to the Assistant General Counsel as an individual contributor. You will use a hybrid work schedule.
You will provide legal advice to the Association, the international joint venture between American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and CIMA, including the following primary responsibilities:
