Title: Management Information Systems Assistant

Location: Dearne Valley College, Rotherham

Salary: £23,971 (£16,520.55 pro‑rata) a year + benefits

Hours: Part time (25.5 hours each week, all year round)

Duration: Temporary until November 2026

About the Role

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Assistant is a key part of the MIS team processing learner information and data for a particular campus within the RNN Group. You will assist learners in achieving their potential by providing academic departments and learners with essential administrative services and advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process learner information including enrolment documentation, exam entries, transfers, withdrawals and achievements.
  • Assist in the curriculum planning process to contribute to the effective delivery of a high-quality Management Information Service.
  • Work closely with the MIS Officer, Exams Officer and other members of the MIS team to provide an accurate and responsive service on each campus.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to learners and academic departments.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience working in an administration environment, preferably within the educational sector.
  • Knowledge of computer packages and ability to work accurately and meet deadlines while providing excellent customer service.
  • Qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE).
  • Good IT skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service approach and ability to work efficiently and proactively.
