The Role

We are looking for a Management Accountant (2 years PQE) to join our Finance Team and report directly to the CFO. This is a brand-new role, created to strengthen our accounting function as we scale.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, driving process improvements, and supporting the wider business with insights that shape decision-making. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy independence, thrive on responsibility, and are eager to make an impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

Management Accounts & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
  • Complete accurate balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
  • Produce cash flow forecasts and support working capital management

Compliance & Controls

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings
  • Improve and document finance processes and internal controls

Event Accounting & Client Support

  • Lead on event accounting – support clients in reconciling sales data, calculating revenue shares, and producing accurate event-by-event financial statements
  • Handle client-facing finance queries, ensuring prompt and professional responses

Business Partnering

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insights to leadership Partner with operational teams to translate financial data into actionable insights
  • Work closely with the CFO on ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects

Who We're Looking For

Essential Experience And Skills

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong background in management accounts
  • Confident working with large data sets and cloud accounting tools (Xero desirable)
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear communicator who can explain finance concepts to both colleagues and clients
  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a remote-first environment
