A local recruitment organization is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to assist with Group finance management and full bookkeeping. Responsibilities include preparing management accounts, managing cash flow, and submitting VAT returns. Qualifications

• Experience as a Management Accountant.
• Proficiency in preparing monthly management accounts.
• Knowledge of cash flow management and VAT submissions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Accountant with Group finance.
• Manage full bookkeeping of allocated Companies.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance reports.
• Submit quarterly Group management accounts.
• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions.
• Produce quarterly VAT returns for submission to HMRC.

Some of your duties will include:

• Assisting the Chief Accountant with the management of Group finance
• Managing full bookkeeping of allocated Companies within the Group
• Preparing monthly management accounts and producing variance to budget reports
• Submitting quarterly Group management accounts for specific Companies
• Proactively managing cash flow by tracking transactions and reviewing forecasts
• Producing quarterly VAT returns for nominated Companies and submitting to HMRC
