Job description

Axon Moore are delighted to be working with an growing, PE backed business in Manchester city centre. Due to growth, they are now looking to appoint a part / nearly / qualified Management Accountant to assist the Finance Manager.

The Finance Manager oversees the team and is looking for a strong Management Accountant to pick up the month end and management accounts, working alongside another. You’ll be pivotal in delivering accurate financial reporting, insight and analysis across multiple entities. This is a hands‑on role in a well‑established team, which will give you exposure to business partnering.

Salary & Benefits :

£40,000 - £45,000 DOE and study support is available where required. Hybrid working (3 days in the office), 25 days holiday plus banks, private medical cover, pension and regular social event.

Key responsibilities :

Month end and management accounts prep for multiple entities.

Creating P&L overhead budgets and analysing spend and providing variance analysis.

Manage the balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany balances.

Revenue reporting in line with FRS102 standards.

Bank reconciliations.

Review supplier invoice and expense payments.

End to end payroll process, adhering to strict deadlines and compliance.

Maintain the asset registers.

Business partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

Support the audit process, ensuring deadlines are met.
