Job summary

A leading FMCG business in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive finance professional to support their expanding operation. Responsibilities include monthly reporting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to inform commercial decisions. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years as a Management Accountant in food manufacturing or FMCG, with strong analytical and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, P&L reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for cost improvements.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts with key stakeholders and carry out detailed variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and support treasury-related activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and broader commercial projects.
• Maintain strong financial controls, ensure compliance, and assist with audits and tax requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the finance team.

About the Client

We're partnering with a well established and growing FMCG business that's looking for a proactive finance professional to support their expanding operation. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you'll take ownership of monthly reporting, cash flow management, and financial analysis that feeds directly into commercial decision making and overall profitability.

Monday - Friday (This is a fully onsite role)

Responsibilities Include

What we are looking for
