In this role, you'll be part of a knowledgeable and friendly finance team, playing a key role in preparing accounts for the company's European subsidiaries. You'll gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of financial and operational areas, helping to shape processes and contribute to the business's continued growth in new markets.

What You'll Do

As a Management Accountant, you'll take ownership of preparing complete sets of accounts and providing insightful analysis that supports key business decisions. You'll work closely with colleagues across Europe and gain valuable exposure to international finance operations.

  • Prepare full sets of management accounts including accruals, prepayments, tax calculations, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset registers across multiple entities, ensuring compliance and clarity.
  • Conduct detailed variance and margin analysis, identifying trends and opportunities to drive performance.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and oversee control accounts such as VAT, payroll, and stock.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions with precision and timeliness.
  • Support treasury management, including payment runs, cashflow forecasting, and supplier management.
  • Manage statutory reporting deadlines across several countries, working with external advisors where needed.
  • Deliver sales and commercial reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure accuracy in multi‑currency group reporting.
  • Review and manage aged debtors and creditors, maintaining healthy cashflow and working capital.
  • Ensure credit card transactions and expenses are reconciled and reported correctly.
What You’ll Bring

We're looking for someone who's confident working with numbers but equally comfortable collaborating with people. You'll combine strong technical accounting knowledge with curiosity, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

  • Experience preparing full sets of accounts.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and willingness to take ownership.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues and external partners across all levels.
  • Competence using accounting software and advanced Excel skills to support efficient reporting and analysis.
Why Join This Organisation

You’ll be joining a company that truly values its people and believes success is built through teamwork, trust, and continual learning. The finance team is professional yet approachable, combining deep technical expertise with a supportive, down‑to‑earth culture.

Here, your work has real impact – helping shape financial strategy, drive efficiency, and support business growth across multiple countries. If you’re looking for a role that’s varied, rewarding, and full of opportunity, this is the perfect next step.
