Overview:

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring for a FLEXI Mammography Technologist.

Shift: This is a flexible position based out of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and its satellite location at Sentara Fort Norfolk. Normal business hours Monday-Friday are 0630-1630 and Saturdays, 0745-1200. We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently.

Position Details and Requirements:

• Perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional Mammography Procedures.
• Perform all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies.
• Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.

Required Education: Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology

Licenses and Certifications:

• Required: ARRT registry in Mammography, ARRT registry in Radiography, Basic Life Support.
• ARRT Registered or Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain registry within 90 days of hire.
