North UK & Scotland Position Summary:

We are seeking an outgoing and dedicated individual to join our team as a Mako Field Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on‑site technical support, performing installations, repairs, maintenance, and testing of Mako robotic systems. You will also manage tasks effectively to ensure all work is completed on schedule.

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong analytical and time‑management skills. A first‑class Mako Field Service Technician demonstrates leadership, excellent service orientation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

What you will do:
  • Provide on‑site technical support and customer service.
  • Install, repair, maintain, and test Mako robotic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the field.
  • Identify technical problems and perform root cause analysis.
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high‑quality support.
  • Manage work progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Document service activities and complete detailed service reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Use your technical expertise and problem‑solving skills to manage multiple projects, make sound decisions independently, and deliver effective solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
