Maintenance Technician (Nights) - Waste and Recycling – West Yorkshire

Salary: £35,000-£45,000

Responsibilities
  • In this role, you'll maintain and repair essential machinery such as conveyors and excavators, ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a range of plant machinery, including conveyor systems, shredders, excavators, and more.
  • Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot machinery issues, diagnose faults, and perform necessary repairs, replacements, or adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards, including proper waste handling.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, including logs of inspections, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other maintenance staff and engineering teams to address complex issues and improve overall plant operations.
