Qualifications

Job description

Circa £55,000 (starting £47,864) with 15% shift allowance and pay progression.

On‑site vehicle tools and PPE equipment.

Permanent 40.25 hours per week, shift based.

Great Billing Northampton.

You will be responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults, and completing scheduled and reactive maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is not just about doing a job; it has a real purpose: protecting our environment and our customers.

With support from a collaborative team you will develop your commercial and industrial experience with assets such as:

  • Electrical control panels
  • Motor testing and level control equipment
  • Instrumentation and inverters
  • Gearboxes, screw conveyors, and centrifuge equipment
What does it take to be a bioresources electrician?
  • An NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent) 18th Edition, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent.
  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience in completing inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis, and competent in undertaking repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSDs and 3‑phase electrical switchgear.
