Position Summary

Responsible for the diagnosis, repair and preventive maintenance on facilities-related equipment and manufacturing support equipment in a factory environment. Manages a variety of unplanned maintenance repairs and interfaces well with stakeholders, including employees, vendors and management. Identifies methods and solutions while providing maintenance know-how, mentoring and leadership in order to provide a high level of service and results.

Essential Functions
  • Identifies and rectifies facility and equipment issues within a factory setting (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general mechanical applications and equipment repair).
  • Schedules outside services and/or conducts preventive maintenance.
  • Manages unplanned facilities, related equipment and machine repair requests.
  • Repairs or replaces facilities equipment and machine parts, as needed.
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and a focus on safety.
  • Communicates effectively with management, employees and vendors.
  • Independently motivated to drive completion on time-sensitive tasks.
Experience and Education
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a factory maintenance environment.
  • Experience in the electrical field a must.
  • Experience in HVAC systems a plus.
  • Experience in Heat Treat Systems a plus.
  • Experience in manual and/or CNC machined a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Degree/certificate from vocational school or college program is a plus, but experience may substitute for education.

Compensation

$40,000 - $100,000 / year

Compensation is paid hourly and may be adjusted based on level of experience, overtime and shift.
