Overview

Talented People are hiring on behalf of a well known brand in Crawley for a Production Technician to ensure the ongoing service and maintenance of their production machines as well as ensuring site facilities and maintenance are maintained.

Job Title: Production Engineer / Technician
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, including conveyor-based machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
  • Support the maintenance of site facilities, including lighting, plumbing, and general utilities
  • Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with maintenance schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and service history
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement improvements
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
What We\'re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a production engineering or maintenance technician role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, ideally with exposure to conveyor systems or fast-paced machinery
