Overview

Your Role
An opportunity has arisen at ADM Milling for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer located in Edinburgh. The main purpose of the role is to undertake maintenance duties under the direction of the Maintenance Team Leader within the multi skilled maintenance team. Ensure all tasks are carried out to high standards in safety and efficiency, following Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental guidelines. This role will be part of a callout rota for out of normal working hours cover for maintenance and other site issues.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake and promote Safety & Health requirements in accordance with Company and Site procedures, programmes and targets.
  • Work within Company and site quality and hygiene standards for food safety.
  • Maximise efficiency and minimise production disruption and downtime.
  • Fault finding on plant equipment with a view to resolving breakdowns resulting in production interruptions and issues.
  • Contribute to solutions for production problems, implement modifications and improvements as required to maintain optimum plant performance.
  • Involvement with projects and initiatives as directed by the maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
  • Undertake call out duties as per requirements.
Your Profile
  • Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable mechanical experience and knowledge in areas not covered by formal qualifications.
  • Electrical pathways qualification preferred.
  • Experience in food environment preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Experience in working with PPM systems.
