Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Operatives Team Leader to help ensure living environments are safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of Decorators and Maintenance Operatives, delegating tasks and providing technical support.
  • Carry out essential site tasks such as damp and mould surveys and fire door inspections.
  • Plan maintenance priorities and oversee contractor work to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Support safety, efficiency, and quality across the repairs and replacement service.
  • Maintain a good understanding of legal compliance, including HHSRS, to deliver departmental standards.
  • Work at various sites across Cheltenham and Gloucester.
  • Drive improvements and track resources to ensure properties remain safe for residents.
Qualifications and Experience
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification, or a City & Guilds qualification or NVQ level 2 in at least one trade.
  • Skills and leadership experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people and take initiative.
  • Full UK driving licence.
