We are looking for a Maintenance Operatives Team Leader to help ensure living environments are safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of Decorators and Maintenance Operatives, delegating tasks and providing technical support.
- Carry out essential site tasks such as damp and mould surveys and fire door inspections.
- Plan maintenance priorities and oversee contractor work to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Support safety, efficiency, and quality across the repairs and replacement service.
- Maintain a good understanding of legal compliance, including HHSRS, to deliver departmental standards.
- Work at various sites across Cheltenham and Gloucester.
- Drive improvements and track resources to ensure properties remain safe for residents.
Qualifications and Experience
- IOSH Managing Safely certification, or a City & Guilds qualification or NVQ level 2 in at least one trade.
- Skills and leadership experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work with a wide range of people and take initiative.
- Full UK driving licence.
