A recruitment agency is seeking a Maintenance Shift Technician in Oxfordshire. This hands-on role requires a strong electrical background for fault-finding and preventative maintenance in a stable manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include supporting production uptime and implementing maintenance procedures. The ideal candidate has completed an electrical apprenticeship and has experience in industrial settings. We are seeking a Maintenance Shift Technician with a strong electrical background to support high-volume assembly operations at our client’s manufacturing site.
This is a hands‑on role focused on fault‑finding, preventative maintenance, and keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently. This position is well suited to ex‑military engineers, particularly from REME, RAF, Royal Navy, or Royal Engineers backgrounds, with experience maintaining electrical or electro‑mechanical systems in safety‑critical environments.
If you are comfortable fault‑finding electrical systems, following procedures, working to high standards, and taking ownership on shift, your skills will transfer well.
This role offers an exceptional salary (due to client confidentiality, we can discuss salary directly with applicants). 40 hours per week on a shift pattern and 25 days holiday (pro rata).
