Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our care home on a part-time, temporary basis to cover long-term sickness. This role is vital in ensuring the home remains safe, well-maintained and comfortable for our residents, visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out general maintenance and repairs within the care home
  • Undertaking regular health & safety checks and basic compliance tasks
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests and faults
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
  • Liaising with external contractors when required
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous maintenance experience (ideally in a care or similar setting)
