Job introduction
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the building, equipment, and systems, including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling.
Conduct repairs and improvements as needed, such as fixing leaks, replacing light fixtures, and painting.
Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and maintain compliance with relevant legislation.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure the safety and comfort of residents and staff.
Keep accurate records of maintenance work carried out and report any major issues to management.
Collaborate with external contractors and service providers as required.
Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and order new supplies as needed.
Proven experience as a maintenance operative or similar role.
Ability to perform a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside of regular working hours.
A valid driver's license.
