Maintenance Officer

We're currently working with a public sector organisation that's looking to bring an experienced Maintenance Officer into their team.

This is a hands‑on role, supporting the day‑to‑day upkeep of buildings used by staff and the wider community. It's well suited to someone who takes pride in keeping environments safe, functional and well maintained.

The role:

  • Carrying out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance work
  • Completing general repairs and maintenance across buildings and facilities
  • Identifying issues before they become bigger problems
  • Making sure sites remain safe, compliant and presentable
  • Working closely with colleagues and, where needed, external contractors
