Maintenance Manager

Leyland, Lancashire

£62,000 - £63,000 + Progression into Operations Manager + Benefits

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will:

• Lead and develop a team of 5 direct reports (3 Production Supervisors and 2 Maintenance Professionals) and a wider team of circa 100 indirect staff.
• Drive operational excellence through strong leadership, coaching, and the implementation of best practices.
• Champion and deliver change management initiatives, challenging the status quo and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Engineering, HSE, Logistics and other business functions to deliver on operational objectives.
• Manage and control budgets, with full P&L responsibilities of the site.
• Oversee multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

About You

• Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, Operations Manager or similar
• Experienced working in the manufacturing, heavy engineering, chemical or similar.
• Excellent leadership qualities with experience developing and empowering teams.
• Experience delivering successful change management programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Has demonstrable experience with budgetary control
• Is highly organised with strong project management capabilities.
