Overview

Maintenance Manager – Lincolnshire – £65,000 - £70,000

One of the UK's leading food producers needs a new Maintenance Manager. They're big, profitable, and investing heavily in people and kit. This is about keeping a fast-paced site running smoothly – machinery, team, audits, budgets, all of it. You'll report into the Engineering Manager but lead your own crew day-to-day. That means recruitment, performance, development, the lot. You'll also play a key role in site audits (BRC, GMP, AIG etc.) and in shaping procedures that actually work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the maintenance team on a fast-paced site, including recruitment, performance management, and development.
  • Direct daily maintenance activities and ensure smooth operation of machinery, processes, and shift coverage.
  • Contribute to site audits (BRC, GMP, AIG, etc.) and help shape practical, effective procedures.
  • Utilise the CMMS to improve maintenance planning, reporting, and downtime reduction.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and other functions to maintain asset performance and reliability.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • IOSH certification (NEBOSH certification preferred).
  • Engineering qualifications; multi-skilled background preferred.
  • Solid CMMS knowledge.
  • A track record of improving maintenance and reducing downtime.
