The role

As a Maintenance Manager youll lead and support a dedicated team to deliver an effective regime of planned and reactive maintenance across the Royal School of Military Engineering(RSME) Minley estate. This is a role where your leadership will directly impact operational readiness and safety while giving you the opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic environment. This is a senior role reporting direct to the leadership team.

Day-to-day youll be required to :
  • Manage and support a team of supervisors engineers and admin staff.
  • Oversee delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical electrical and building fabric disciplines.
  • Plan prioritise and coordinate maintenance and small works ensuring safe deployment of staff and contractors.
  • Drive improvements to enhance output effectiveness and consistency across the contract.
  • Ensure KPIs and service standards are consistently met.

This role is full time 37 hours per week and is based on site at Minley.

Essential experience of the Maintenance Manager :
  • Facilities management experience.
  • People management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety in the built environment.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Manager :
  • Trade qualification or time-served experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
