Maintenance Engineer Chelmsford Essex Outside IR35 contract needed for an 8 hours days contract role for a packaging manufacturer.

Contract Maintenance Engineer is a hands on role working for manufacturer and YOU MUST have experience of maintaining machinery i.e. conveyors or other industrial machinery.

Contract Maintenance Engineer is based in Essex, near Chelmsford

Contract details

• Outside IR35 contract
• 5 months+ contract
• Start in mid October
• Contract role can be paid Outside IR35 LTD or umbrella

Responsibilities

• Carry out the requirements of the planned preventive maintenance programme
• Solid practical electrical or mechanical hands on experience maintaining machinery
• Attend to breakdowns in a fast paced environment
• Use initiative to solve breakdowns
• Plan maintenance activities
• Mechanical or electrical fault finding
• Adhere to health and safety requirements

Qualifications and skills

• Mechanical or Electrical qualification or Apprenticeship and experience
• Ideally multi-skilled

Location and commuting

Commutable from Chelmsford, Braintree, Colchester, Stansted, Bishop Stortford, Wickford, Brentwood, Harlow, Upminster, Epping, Rayleigh, Witham, Maldon, Billericay and other parts of London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
