Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Provide rapid response to breakdowns.
  • Fault finding and maintaining equipment.
  • Follow up on any faults from PPMs.
  • Ensure engineering standards are maintained.
  • Assist specialist subcontractors for PPM and reactive works.
  • Adhere to QA and site procedures.
  • Follow Health & Safety procedures.
  • Maintain all company-issued tools safely.
  • Support business success with a can-do attitude.

Location: Scunthorpe

Hours: Monday – Friday Rotating Shifts 05.45 – 14.15/ 14.15 – 22.45

Main Responsibilities
  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Providing rapid response to breakdown’s when required
  • Fault finding, trouble shooting and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time
  • To follow up any faults picked up on PPM’s.
  • Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems.
  • To assist specialist subcontractor’s requirements both for PPM and reactive works.
  • To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.
  • Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
  • Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
  • To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude.
  • Complete any other associated task requested by the management.
  • Ensure that workstations are kept tidy and well maintained
