Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing, industrial, or similar background, looking for a hands‑on, varied role working on complex machinery rather than repetitive production lines?

This is an opportunity to join a well-established leisure and entertainment organisation with a strong safety culture and long‑term job security, offering a supportive team environment, structured training, and ongoing development on specialist equipment.

In this role you will maintaining a wide range of amusement rides, attractions, and supporting plant equipment. Full training will be provided on specialist ride systems, inspections, and industry standards.

The role would suit a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer who enjoys responsibility, variety, and working on unique equipment where no two days are the same.

THE ROLE
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance on amusement rides, attractions, and general plant
  • Mechanical fault‑finding on motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, drives, pumps, and hydraulic systems
  • Supporting daily safety checks and inspections
  • Working safely at height and with lifting equipment where required
  • Completing maintenance records and documentation accurately
  • Working as part of a close‑knit maintenance team in a safety‑critical environment

  • Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias or similar
  • Commutable to Southend-on-Sea
