Job description
Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire

Salary: £42,000-£44,000 per annum (OTE £48,000-£50,000)

Hours: Monday-Friday | 07:30-17:30 + Overtime (paid at 1.5x)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Electrical fault finding and repairs on production machinery
  • Carrying out planned and preventative electrical maintenance
  • Supporting mechanical tasks when required
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies
  • Working closely with the Engineering Manager to maintain smooth plant operations
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer in food manufacturing, cold storage, or similar environments
  • Strong electrical skill set with relevant certifications (NVQ / City & Guilds)
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motors, sensors, and electrical control systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Mechanical knowledge is an advantage
