A leading energy solutions company based in East London is seeking a Maintenance Engineer. The role involves maintaining District Heating systems and requires a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, along with various commercial gas safe certifications. The position offers a competitive salary of £45,636 to £57,937, plus a standby retainer and numerous benefits, including holidays and pension plans.

Right now, we're looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our CES team based in London. Here you will be responsible for the corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance in all areas of the process including District Heating plant rooms, pumping stations and control systems, District Heating pipework networks, heat metering equipment and boilers.
You'll also assist the Operations & Maintenance lead engineers to help plan, co-ordinate and complete maintenance activities, both mechanical and electrical, that impact/are likely to impact on the operational performance of the District Heating Network. The aim is to reduce unplanned unavailability keeping our customers on supply 24/7 and improve the performance of the assets while ensuring all major costs are identified early in the process to assist with Business planning.

The salary range for this role is £45,636 - £57,937. There is a London allowance of up to £3,550 pa available for eligible candidates.
This is an East London based role with travel required to other sites within the area. A company van &fuel card will beprovided.
The successful candidate will join a Call Out Rota 1 week in 5, with a standby retainer of circa £4,000 pa. Overtime for calloutswill be paid in addition to this.
This is a permanent role.
