Overview

Maintenance Engineer - Days (Ashford, Kent)
Salary: £45,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm (37.5 hours per week)
Sector: FMCG / High-Speed Packaging Manufacturing

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading international manufacturer based near Ashford, Kent. This is a permanent day role with excellent pay, great benefits, and genuine opportunities for career progression. The successful candidate will join a supportive and friendly team where staff are treated well and given every chance to grow. Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance on production machinery
• Attending breakdowns in a fast-paced FMCG environment
• Mechanical and/or electrical fault finding and repair
• Using initiative to identify and solve engineering problems
• Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

Qualifications & Experience

• Recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in FMCG / high-speed packaging
• Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical skills maintaining production machinery
• Ability to work independently on days and as part of a small, close-knit team
