Job Description
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the operations team and engineering team to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Experience creating and adhering a Total Productive Maintenance plan and other Preventive Maintenance schemes.
  • Experience in continuous improvement from a maintenance and engineering perspective - exposure to new machinery or new site commissioning is always a plus!
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and completed repairs.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proven experience in working within a TMP or PM plans within food manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
