Maintenance Engineer Days (Electrical bias)

Salary: GBP45 000 + 26 days holiday + pension + excellent career progression

Location: Deeside

Hours: Monday to Friday daytime

The Job
  • Initially help oversee installation, commissioning and start up of state of the art machinery. Working closely with market leading OEM Engineers.
  • Ensure H&S and compliance within mechanical engineering team.
  • Support and influence mechanical engineering strategy, ensuring strategy is delivered across the site.
  • Support implementation of reliability to ensure min downtime through data driven approaches.
The Person
  • Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC level mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Working in a heavier manufacturing environment an advantage eg paper mill, steel works, recycling, chemicals etc
  • Understanding DCS systems an advantage
  • Ability to be flexible and part of a dynamic and fast growing team and division that will develop and evolve.
  • Good interpersonal skills - communication, stakeholder engagement.
Nice to have but not essential
  • Project experience expansion, modernisation, new factory or plant build.
  • Installation, commissioning, start-up of machines and equipment.
  • BOAS or / and steam boiler expertise
