About the Maintenance Engineer job
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and improvements on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Maintain accurate daily records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with reporting systems and CMMS / SHIRE
  • Continuously seek ways to reduce breakdowns and improve processes through WCM methodologies
  • Assist operators with maintenance activities and support their understanding of machine functions
About the successful Maintenance Engineer
  • Proven experience within a manufacturing environment
  • 18th Edition electrical certification with a solid understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical fitting, ELV control circuits, PLC I/O logic, and basic plumbing.
  • Ability to effectively read and interpret Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic/Pneumatic drawings and fault-find.
