Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, front‑line reactive maintenance and get equipment back into service quickly.
  • Diagnose faults and repair mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Lead shift‑based problem‑solving and root cause analysis.
  • Identify and implement cost‑effective improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.
  • Support audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach operators on asset care tasks and collaborate as part of a high‑performing team.
Qualifications
  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
  • Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical / Electrical bias with multiskilled capability.
  • ONC/HNC qualification (IOSH/Nebosh desirable). Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
