Job summary

A leading UK manufacturer is seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join their production team in South Yorkshire. The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and minor electrical faults, performing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting general production operations. Ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience in machine maintenance, as well as the ability to operate woodworking machinery. Full training will be provided, along with opportunities to expand skills in a dynamic work environment.

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a knack for fixing machinery and keeping operations running smoothly? Gooding Group, a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke fitted wardrobes, is looking for a skilled and hands‑on Maintenance Engineer to join our small, dedicated production team.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing or woodworking environment. While the primary focus will be on maintenance engineering, you’ll also contribute to supporting the wider production team, including running machines as needed full training will be provided. Forklift driving and occasional yard duties are also part of the role.
