Overview

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) – Location: Hull. Salary: Competitive, plus generous overtime and shift allowances. Shifts: 6:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 (Rotating). Hours: 40 per week + 1 in 2 Saturdays (1.5x pay). Extras: 2 Weeks Off at Christmas, 30 Days Holiday (incl. Bank Holidays). Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a variety of production equipment, including conveyors, belts, bearings; fryers, coating and processing machinery; sealers and packaging equipment.
  • Perform basic electrical fault finding on single and 3-phase systems.
  • Work hands-on within a small, tight-knit engineering team and report to the Engineering Manager.
What We're Looking For
  • Time-served apprenticeship (mechanical/electrical).
  • Strong mechanical experience with working knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Ability to fault find and rewire basic electrical components.
  • A proactive attitude and strong team fit.
  • Previous experience in FMCG, food production, or manufacturing is a plus.
Training & Progression

Full training will be provided for candidates with a solid engineering foundation and the right attitude. You’ll be supported by a team of experienced engineers and offered future development opportunities.

  • Optional Sunday overtime.
