Shift: Mon-Fri (8.00am - 6.30pm) - (45 hrs per week) - Some flexibility around work hours if required

Holidays: 20 days + 8 bank holidays

Overview

Working for a very reputable production company, we now require a Maintenance Engineer to work in a fast-paced, automated, production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re‑active maintenance. Both mechanical and electrical engineers will be considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role
  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
  • PPM's
Ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer

The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Strong maintenance background, working within automated manufacturing/production environment or similar
  • Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
Commutable from

Greenwich, Deptford, Woolwich, Blackheath, Peckham and surrounding areas
