Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical fitting, ELV control circuits, PLC I/O logic, and basic plumbing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and improvements on production equipment.
  • Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Skills

Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic/Pneumatic drawing interpretation

Overview

Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Highworth, Swindon. Permanent position. Upto £43,300 d.o.e. Weekly rotating early and late shifts (6-2 and 2-10). Discount company products. Quarterly performance related company bonus scheme. 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and improvements on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Maintain accurate daily records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with reporting systems and CMMS / SHIRE
  • Continuously seek ways to reduce breakdowns and improve processes through WCM methodologies
  • Assist operators with maintenance activities and support their understanding of machine functions
Qualifications
  • Proven experience within a manufacturing environment
  • 18th Edition electrical certification with a solid understanding of the Electricity at the Work Regulations
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical fitting, ELV control circuits, PLC I/O logic, and basic plumbing.
  • Ability to effectively read and interpret Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic/Pneumatic drawings and fault-find
