Overview

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) — Days, 7:30am - 4:00pm | Competitive Pay + Overtime

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background, supported by some electrical knowledge, who enjoys keeping equipment running smoothly and solving problems on the spot.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
  • Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and general fabrication
  • Diagnosing and fixing breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Supporting continuous improvements and safe working practices
  • Occasional electrical fault-finding (training provided where needed)
Qualifications
  • Mechanical engineering background (apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Some electrical competency
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding
  • Ability to read technical drawings and work independently
  • A proactive approach with good problem-solving skills
Hours & Benefits
  • Days: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Overtime available: Saturday mornings (optional)
