A dedicated engineering company near Crewe is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a desirable Panama Days shift pattern and a base salary of up to £56,000 per annum. The role includes maintaining automated machinery and requires experience in a maintenance-focused role within manufacturing. Overview

Are you a Maintenance Engineer who wants a Panama Days only shift pattern for a base salary of up to £56,000 per annum + overtime with earnings of £60,000 and upwards achievable? If so, then please read on! (Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered as training can be provided)

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: near Crewe

Pay: Level 1: £46,000; Level 2: £50,000; Level 3: £52,000; Level 4: £56,000. Dependent on experience.

Hours: Panama days/12hr days: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

Overtime: 1.5x weekdays. Mon-Sat and double on Sundays.

Industry: Manufacturing

Holidays: 22 shifts.

Responsibilities
  • To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
  • PPM's (planned preventative maintenance).
Qualifications
  • Time served apprentice trained or above (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a maintenance-focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
  • An electrical understanding (changing like-for-like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications). Electrical training can be provided offsite by the company.
Location and Commute

Commutable from: Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.
