Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a multi‑skilled, electrically biased maintenance engineer (or an electrical fitter, electro‑mechanical engineer, plant engineer (electrical), manufacturing/industrial electrician, or similar role) who can commute to the Rochdale/Heywood region (north Manchester: Bury, Oldham, Heywood, Rochdale).

Salary

Salary to be confirmed; overall earnings are expected to be £45,000 – £54,000 per day.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and electrical fault finding.
• Perform electrical maintenance on onsite cranes (Demag cranes), including working from heights.
• Implement maintenance systems and checks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Multi‑skilled electrically biased maintenance engineer or related electrical engineering role.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments such as manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aerospace, rail, or dock operations with cranes.
• Knowledge of carrying out PPM and implementing maintenance systems and checks.

Location and Commuting
