Job description
Overview

Maintenance Engineer required in Burton. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered (training can be provided).

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm. Pay: £38,000 to £45,000 dependent on competencies/skill set. Overtime: 1.5x Mon-Fri from 3:00pm and Saturday until 12:00 midday. Double time Saturday 12:00 onwards and Sundays. Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays. Industry: Manufacturing. Location: Burton.

Responsibilities
  • To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
  • PPMs.
Qualifications
  • Time served apprentice trained or above.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance-focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
  • An electrical understanding such as changing like-for-like parts and basic fault finding; electrical certifications are not required but electrical training can be provided offsite by the company.
Commutability
  • Commutable from: Burton-On-Trent, Derby, Swadlincote, Lichfield and surrounding areas.
