An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies, working around Wembley and the surrounding area in North West London.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 17th or 18th edition as a minimum.

The role involves working as part of a team at various retail sites in the region, undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The purpose of this role is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.

Responsibilities:

• Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repair work promptly.
• Ensure all tools and equipment necessary for maintenance and repairs are always available and in good condition.
• Attend other sites within the cluster as needed, despite being aligned to a specific area for PPM completion.
• Work with company and client colleagues to maintain high standards of quality.
• Represent the company professionally and develop good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Carry out tasks in accordance with specific KPIs.
• Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately, providing live job updates from you and your team at all times.

Qualifications:

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations/maintenance or recognized apprenticeship equivalent.
• 17th or 18th Edition qualification.

Salary / Package:

• Basic Salary + standby = approximately £45,000
• Mon-Fri, 42.5 hours per week
• Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes at overtime rate
• Overtime rate at 1.5x, available Mon-Sun
• Call out duty - 1 in 4 weeks
