A prominent NHS Trust in Scunthorpe is seeking an Estates Maintenance Craftsperson to contribute to the maintenance and repair of Trust properties. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with statutory requirements and operational standards, supporting the delivery of patient care in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities include managing technical systems and supporting planned maintenance while undertaking necessary training. This role requires a solid educational background in engineering trades, with an emphasis on hands-on training.
An Estates Maintenance Craftsperson plays a key role in the Estates Engineering Maintenance Services. The individual will support the Estates Officers and maintenance team in the delivery of maintenance programmes that will contribute to the Trusts objectives been carried out in a safe, cost effective, efficient manner and compliant with legislation, Health Technical Memorandums (HTM) and good practice. The post holder will undertake works relating to the maintenance and repairs of Trust properties, equipment, grounds & gardens ensuring compliance with Statutory requirements, HTM’s, Trust Policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe and functional environment for patients, public and staff to support the delivery of patient care.
Have a good general education and general experience of engineering trades and will undertake on the job training or other training away from the place of work as dictated by the requirements of the role.
