A leading energy services company is seeking Maintenance Assistants in Wakefield for a permanent full-time role. Responsibilities include performing maintenance and repairs on hospital facilities. EQUANS are looking for 2x Maintenance Assistants to join our team in Wakefield at Pinderfield and Pontefract Hospital. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Working within the Technical Services team, the post holder will have the required skills to ensure the safe completion of repairs, minor planned installation and maintenance work on a wide range of equipment, building fixtures and plant to the highest of standards for our clients.
The main responsibilities include efficiently and effectively performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities on lighting, water and heating services and reactive repairs to building fabric e.g. plasterwork, floor coverings, ceramic tiles etc as required.
Working as part of a wider M&E team, there may be a requirement to undertake other tasks as required.
The objective of the department is to operate and maintain a physical environment in which healthcare can be delivered to the patient. The main elements being the maintenance of both building fabric and services e.g. external and internal finishes, fittings and fixtures, plumbing, electrical and mechanical services, etc.
Compliance with all statutory requirements in relation to safe working practices and safe operation of plant, equipment and services. Keeping records of all activities as per all Health Technical Memoranda (HTM) and Quality Assurance requirements.
