Overview

As an Infrastructure Architect at Kyndryl, you are the technical leader bridging clients, governance, project executives, delivery teams, and vendors. You engage from the start of a project to delivery, understanding client needs and defining the best technical solution. You design what Kyndryl can do to meet the solution and lead implementation with technical leadership to ensure the right product is delivered on time and within budget.

You will support all major cloud platforms, expanding your knowledge and knowing when to call on other subject-matter experts. Thinking your way around pre-existing limitations grows your creativity and flexibility. You’ll learn a lot here, and if you want to pursue certifications, there are opportunities.

The role offers potential for multiple career paths, including vertical and horizontal moves, possible travel, and opportunities to progress toward roles such as enterprise architect or chief architect.

What You’ll Do

• Consult early with clients, gather inputs, and define what Kyndryl can do to meet the solution.
• Design the best solution for the job and act as the technical leader for implementation.
• Work across major cloud platforms and coordinate with other SMEs as needed.
• Navigate existing limitations to grow creativity and flexibility in problem solving.
• Influence, create, and deliver from start to finish with the ability to delight clients.
• Explore career paths and opportunities, including potential travel and progression toward senior architectural roles.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Solid understanding of data center domains: systems, storage, networking & security, applications & databases
• Understanding of systems and solutions architecture
• Hands-on experience with data center technologies, cloud software, and interoperability

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• MS Project or other project management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels
