About the role:

This role will be processing the mail, scanning, encoding, and sorting inbound and outbound consignments as well as accurately recording account details. You\'ll locate and identify all mail in the warehouse to secure it in the sort centre for processing. You will need to handle all items of mail in a safe and secure manner in line with mail integrity.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Quality checks of items processed through operations
• Bagging and tagging outgoing International Mail
• Light maintenance and cleaning and tidying of area
• Scanning and palletizing outbound mail and handover ready scanned mail safely wrapped for distribution
• Lifting of mail boxes and bags (in accordance with Manual Handling guidelines)
• Report any breach in Security to the Supervisor/Sort Centre Manager
• Ensure that all verbal and written communication is appropriate and in line with data Protection regulations
• At all times act in an appropriate and respectful manner when dealing with other employees, visitors or member of the public
• Comply with the company policies and procedures when communicating with others, verbal, written and electronic
• Check format/spec of the mail, segregate and run in relevant streams

The ideal candidate will have:

• A flexible approach to work and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approach
• You won\'t need experience, we\'ll provide you with that, but you will need a strong work ethic and real attention to detail.
