Overview

Machine Shop Supervisor required to manage a small team of Machinists, ensuring the timely delivery and quality of precision parts.

You will have excellent knowledge of CNC milling and turning with the ability to manage a team, ensure workflow and allocate work effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and coordination of production schedules, job allocation and workflow management
  • Ensuring and optimising production process, troubleshooting problems and implementing improvements
  • Working with the QMS and ensuring standards and conduct regular quality inspections
  • People management including training, development and motivation and performance management
  • maintaining discipline, managing attendance, holidays, and shift schedules
  • Ensuring machine maintenance, availability of material and tooling
  • Liaising with customers and internal team to resolve and problems
  • Ensure Health and Safety in your department
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Check machinery functionality and report issues to maintenance promptly.

  • Ability to organise and prioritise in line with production goals
