Overview

The Best Connection is recruiting for Assemblers / Machine Factory Operatives to join our client\'s manufacturing team in Gillingham. This is a full-time, ongoing role with full training provided. Shift: Monday to Thursday 07:30-15:30, Friday 07:30-14:30. Pay: £12.21 per hour. Overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates:

• Time and a half after 37 hours
• Saturdays paid at time and a half
• Sundays paid at double time

Responsibilities

• Assembling small components for diesel pumps
• Quality checking and packing parts
• Operating and loading machines (training provided)
• Working with oils and diesel in certain departments (PPE provided)

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in assembly, machine operation, or factory work is preferred but not essential
• Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and keen to learn new skills
